Springboard for women into business
Published by Roisin Rowley-Smith for Riverside in Housing and also in Communities
Riverside’s training project Springboard is joining forces with the Women’s Organisation to offer support for Merseyside women interested in starting their own business.
A free training course is planned for Wednesday 26 March at Riverside’s housing office in Naylorsfield Drive, Belle Vale from 12.30 until 3pm.
The course will cover confidence building, business planning, book keeping and information on accessing start-up funding.
Doreen Dunmore is Springboard’s team leader. She said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Merseyside women to find out more about setting up a new business. We will also be covering the options for trading online, which potentially could turn a hobby into a money spinner.”
