Spectrum Property Care, the repairs and maintenance subsidiary of Dorset-based Spectrum Housing Group, has won two more Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) national site awards for 2013.

Both awards are for the high performing Electrical Department's works programmes covering works on Spectrum Housing Group and Poole Housing Partnership(PHP) properties in the south of England.

This brings the tally of CCS Awards since 2008 to eight - four for Spectrum and four for PHP.

For both awards, Spectrum Property Care gained 41 points out of a possible 50 with all categories marked as either excellent or exceptional.

Last year some 8,500 sites were registered for CCS. Of these, only the top 7.5% of sites are short-listed for national awards.

Paul Bryan, Managing Director of Spectrum Property Care said:  “We are delighted to have won two more CCS awards - they provide a high standard of assurance for clients and show that we go beyond compliance in the delivery of our work by being considerate to customers, staff, the environment, the local community and that we deliver quality work whilst keeping everyone safe.

Few contractors from the Direct Labour Organisation sector have won a CCS award and I don't believe any can equal our tally.

Special thanks and congratulations go to Stuart Brookes, director of Operations and to Antony Streets, Electrical Manager, and his exceptional team.

We look forward to the awards ceremony later in the year and to Spectrum Property Care taking its place alongside the major players inUKconstruction.”

Mike Harrison, Director of Technical Services at PHP said: “It only goes to confirm the quality part of Spectrum’s tender bid last year when they retained the contract. It is great to see the work and effort both Spectrum and PHP teams put into this difficult programme being recognised.”
