Lancashire-based Progress Housing Group is celebrating after being awarded a prestigious accreditation for excellence in staff training and development.
Progress has been awarded the Investors in People accreditation for its ongoing improvements to staff training and development for the sixth successive time. Meaning the employer has been recognised by the body for over 15 years.
Since its launch in 1991, the Investors in People framework has been helping organisations deliver better performance and stronger, mutually beneficial, bonds with staff. It has become the business benchmark by which companies are gauged for the quality of the company/employee relationship.
In order to maintain the recognition, annual re-assessments are required that consider how the organisation identifies staff requirements, and measures staff satisfaction.
Feedback from the assessor reported how impressed they were with the dedication of Progress Housing Group and that staff genuinely felt recognised, valued and part of a team, with staff showing a real passion for what they do and a clear commitment to developing and delivering high quality services.
Jacqui De-Rose, Chief Executive of Progress Housing Group, said: “We are extremely pleased to have retained the Investors in People award for the sixth time running. It is a credit to all staff and a reflection of their commitment and dedication that we have maintained Investors in People status for over 15 years.”
Progress will be visited annually to ensure that it is keeping its services at the level it should be with a full reassessment in 2017.
