Spotlight session at one of the Northern Housing Consortium's events
A free exhibition with a difference, which aims to put housing professionals in front of innovative local suppliers, is coming to the North.
The Housing, Innovation and Technology Roadshow, organised by the Northern Housing Consortium, is making stops at York, Bolton and Scotland throughout March and May.
Helen McLoughlin, Head of Member Relations at the Northern Housing Consortium, said: “The housing sector is one which thrives on innovation and new solutions. We know that our members are constantly looking for ideas and technology that can help them with challenges such as developing more efficient business processes, right through to building homes that meet the needs of future residents.
“This roadshow is designed to get our members in front of the innovative businesses that can help them to meet these challenges. And, thanks to our sponsors Onyx Group, the roadshow is free for our members and housing professionals to attend.”
Each event provides an opportunity to network as well as hear from high profile speakers who will be discussing topics such as smart cities, digital healthcare and transformational innovation in the public sector.
There will also be live demonstrations on how to get value from social media as well as a chance to see 3D printing in action. North West based social enterprise 3D Printing Network, in association with BCP Labs will be printing a door handle as well as talking about the impact 3D printing technology will have on the housing sector.
