Sidey & Fife Housing Association being presented with their award at the ceremony in London
Local window and door manufacturer Sidey are celebrating after winning ‘PVCu window and door project of the year 2014’ for their current large scale window and door replacement programme with Fife Housing Association.
The 2014 LHC Awards took place in London at St. Paul's Aldersgate where LHC Councillors, members, customers & suppliers gathered to celebrate their achievements over the past year.
Steve Hardy, Sidey’s Joint Managing Director, Commercial Sales commented – “We are thrilled to have received this recognition for our partnership with Fife Housing Association. We started work with Fife HA and the LHC over 5 years ago and to date we have fitted new windows and doors to over fifteen hundred properties throughout Fife. The feedback and support we have received from tenants and the housing association alike has been fantastic and we are delighted to be making a difference to the quality of homes in the Fife area.
Steve continued – “To be informed that achieving 100% for waste minimisation, our use of local employment for direct and support services, client satisfaction, service and product were among the reasons for Sidey winning this award has the whole company beaming with pride”.
Sidey beat off stiff competition from a number of other entrants within the category, some of which included large international companies.
This recent award comes hot on the heels of Sidey’s shortlist for ‘Most Innovative Product’ at this year’s Housing Innovation Awards, which will take place in London on the 15th of May.
