Diane Bellinger and Dr Lis Smith sign strategic alliance agreement
Community Gateway Association (CGA) and Preston’s College have signed a strategic alliance agreement that will see the organisations join together to benefit communities across Preston.
The aim of this alliance is for both organisations to work together through the provision of learning and development facilities and joint services.
The key objective of the agreement is for both organisations to work together to deliver outcomes to maximise the benefit for their shared customers.
CGA and Preston’s College share a common vision and values; both organisations are committed to helping local people whether that is helping people into further education or obtaining skills to gain employment.
CGA's involvement will also include the organisations subsidiary training facility Preston Vocational Centre, which offers vocational training to young people aged 16-25.
Diane Bellinger Chief Executive at CGA said,” We are delighted to join with Preston’s College in this agreement. Our tenants’ and the communities we serve will be strengthened by having the college as a strategic partner”
Dr. Lis Smith, Principal and Chief Executive at Preston’s College commented “The strategic alliance with Diane and the team at Community Gateway Association is a great fit with the college’s ambition to take a leadership role in the local community. We’re very much looking forward to the positive contribution we can make as part of the partnership.”
