Top regulatory rating achieved

A housing association has been given a clean bill from its regulator.
Railway Housing Association has once again retained the highest level of Regulatory Judgement from the Home and Communities Agency (HCA).
It follows an assessment of the organisation by the HCA into its compliance with the economic standards for all private registered providers. It received a governance and financial viability rating of 1 – the top score available.
Railway Housing Association Chief Executive Anne Rowlands said: “We work very hard to ensure our leadership, accountability and financial strength is managed in an open and transparent way.
“We are very pleased that this has been endorsed by the Homes and Communities Agency through its latest Regulatory Judgement on the Association.
“This can provide our residents and other stakeholders with the confidence we are a well run housing association.
“I would like to take this opportunity of thanking our Board of Trustees, our staff, and residents for their continued support of Railway Housing Association.
