Housing association Golding Homes has been transferred 142 family homes from fellow social landlord Housing 21.
The transfer of the homes in the Royal British Legion Village, Aylesford, Kent followed full consultation with tenants and approval by the Homes and Communities Agency.
Golding's chief executive, Peter Stringer, said: “We are delighted to expand our portfolio with these homes, and look forward to working with residents to enhance their neighbourhood and support the local community."
Tenants have been sent information on the changes and invited to a welcome event where they will be able to meet their new neighbourhood advisor and other staff.
The transfer sees Golding extend its presence in the Tonbridge and Malling borough. The association also has developments on site in Medway and Ashford areas, and is on target to deliver a £34 million regeneration project of homes and commercial retail units on the outskirts of Maidstone.
