EnviroVent has been named SME Manufacturer of the Year (over 125 employees) at the National Manufacturer Awards in Birmingham last night.
EnviroVent scooped the award, demonstrating that they are a rising star in the world of UK manufacturing, at a glittering ceremony alongside an array of blue chip companies including Rolls Royce, AstraZeneca, Jaguar Land Rover, FujiFilm, and Monarch Aircraft. What’s more, EnviroVent is the first ventilation company to win this prestigious award, beating companies from the engineering and food industries.
The company manufactures a wide range of energy efficient and innovative ventilation solutions at its Harrogate factory in North Yorkshire, which improve indoor air quality in hundreds of thousands of homes throughout the UK and beyond by providing a guaranteed and permanent cure to condensation and mould.
Winning this award is a tremendous achievement for EnviroVent, not only will it boost the company’s profile on a national level, it also highlights just how far EnviroVent has come over the past year in terms of improvements to production processes and methods. In addition to this, the company’s continued investment in research and development has led to 3 new products, each one manufactured in the UK, launched into the market over the last 12 months, creating around 60 new jobs.
Managing director Nick Heaton said: "EnviroVent is proud not only to be a UK manufacturer, creating many jobs, but also a world class designer which manufactures ground-breaking ventilation products, and this now proves it."
Over the past 12 months, EnviroVent has won 5 major awards including the Yorkshire Post Business in Excellence Award for Innovation and the H&V News Award for Air Movement Product of the Year.
