Cromhall’s temporary Post Office welcomed children from the local school last week as they posted their Christmas wish lists to Father Christmas.

Pupils from the reception, Year 1 and 2 classes from St Andrew’s Primary School popped in to get their letters stamped before sending them off.

It’s the last Christmas that the Post Office will be based in its portakabin as next year it will be in a permanent, purpose-built building. Merlin Housing Society is working in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council to build a new home for the award-winning community-run shop and post office, plus three new, affordable homes.

The Cromhall Village Shop and Post Office will be moving into its new home in summer 2014.
