Daikin Altherma Eco-label Range
Published by Marketing for Space Air Solutions in Housing
European Eco-label, known as ‘the flower’ is awarded to selected Daikin Altherma ranges, being the first to deliver in its sector!
The aim of the Eco-label is to limit the environmental impacts from manufacture, operation and end of electrically driven heat pumps.
Eco-label is only awarded to products, which meet EU-wide environmental criteria and guarantees that products bearing the label have the highest environmental performances of their sector.
To be awarded the Eco-label, each unit is assessed in a range of categories:
- Heating efficiency
- Refrigerant global warming potential (GWP)
- Noise levels
- Absence of RoHS substances
- Installer training
- 10 years availability of spare parts
- Detailed information at point of sale
Selected Daikin Altherma products have higher energy efficiency and less global warming impact than other heat pump products in its class!
Low Temperature (LT) system:
The versatile wall-hung Hydrobox unit contains all hydraulic components for applications where heating is required (an optional DHW storage cylinder or thermal storage tank are available). From 4kW ~ 16kW in single or three phase the Hydrobox can achieve temperatures up to 60°C.
High Temperature (HT) system:
Daikin’s advanced cascade technology, for reaching high temperatures efficiently, up to 80°C or where large volumes of sanitary hot water are needed. System capacities are maintained even at extreme low temperatures.
The Mono type system consists of the same components, including pumps, as the Split type wall-hung system but housed all-in-one outdoor unit, capable of temperatures up to 55°C without the need for supplementary heating. Available in 5 capacities single and three phase, for heating and hot water.
