On Monday 14th October, the Sovini Group, based in Merseyside, was presented with three awards from TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) – during a special ceremony to celebrate becoming the first organisation to have achieved all three accreditations.
The achievement is a result of the group’s commitment to customer participation and empowerment throughout its services, and so Sovini’s Customer Empowerment Team invited a number of customers, partners and staff to enjoy the celebrations at the Sovini Head Office in Bootle, Merseyside.
Representatives from Sovini Property Services and One Vision Housing were presented with the three awards – the TPAS Landlord re-accreditation, TPAS Contractor accreditation and the TPAS, Housemark and CIH Quality Assured Scrutiny accreditation.
Sovini’s Customer Empowerment Manager, Ann Owens, said: “It has been great to see so many people coming together to share our success, of which we are extremely proud.
“At Sovini we are committed to partnership working, which would not have been possible without the dedicated tenants and customers who regularly give up their time to help us improve the services that we deliver, and enable Sovini to be such a customer-focused organisation.”
Michelle Reid, TPAS Chief Executive who presented the awards commented: “TPAS are delighted to award three accreditations to the Sovini Group and One Vision Housing. At a time when some within the housing sector put tenant involvement on the ‘back burner’, the Sovini Group and One Vision Housing have demonstrated that striving to achieve better tenant empowerment can act as a catalyst to ensure a stronger future for their organisation”.
“We look forward to sharing the stories of how the Sovini Group and One Vision Housing have used all three accreditation processes to enjoy their success by working together with tenants”.
Sovini’s Customer Empowerment Team works on behalf of One Vision Housing, Pine Court Housing and Sovini Property Services, to ensure that the customers are involved wherever possible, as their knowledge and understanding is invaluable to shaping and improving the services delivered.
