Yorkshire-based housing and regeneration specialist Keepmoat is looking for local contractors and suppliers to help deliver two multi-million pound housing schemes in West Yorkshire.
Keepmoat, in partnership with Wakefield Council, is inviting local companies to tender for work on the new housing developments in Frickley and Fitzwilliam, which will see 190 and 159 new homes built respectively.
In anticipation of work commencement on both schemes, Keepmoat has organised a ‘Meet the Developer’ event on Thursday, October 24between 12 and 4pm.
The developments will potentially see millions of pounds of work up for grabs. As part of an on-going commitment to use local companies and labour, contractors and suppliers across Yorkshire are now invited to submit tenders for the development work.
The event will take place at Westfield Resource Centre, Westfield Lane, South Elmsall, WF9 2PU. Everyone from joiners, electricians and cleaners are invited to attend.
Mark Knight, New Build Managing Director for Keepmoat, said: "The aim of this event is to offer local firms the opportunity to network and make new contacts but also find out about upcoming contracts and opportunities and how to access our local supply chain.
"Our work is not just about building new homes but creating and sustaining local communities.
"We achieve this by working with local contractors and people, ensuring the investment in these areas benefits those living there and the communities they serve."
