Dalgarno Neighbourhood Management Alliance
Kensington MP Sir Malcolm Rifkind (pictured) attended the Dalgarno Neighbourhood Management Alliance Annual Forum on Wednesday 9 October when the partnership alliance of five social landlords, with homes in the area, was renewed for two more years.
The Dalgarno Neighbourhood Management Alliance works with local residents and stakeholders to improve the area, encourage and support residents’ involvement and create a sense of pride in the local community. A neighbourhood manager is employed to help deliver a neighbourhood action plan and ensure that the partnership achieves what needs to be done.
The five social landlords are: Catalyst Housing, Notting Hill Housing Group, Peabody, Affinity Sutton, Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO).
Congratulating the partners on their co-ordinated approach, Sir Malcolm Rifkind MP said: “Partnerships work best when all parties can agree on the way forward. The fact that residents are actively involved is a positive and the role of local councillors is also very important.”
