Government 'failing to deliver on housing' - Jack Dromey
Amid sector lamentations and media celebrations for Mark Prisk’s departure, Ed Miliband also swooped Monday to change his housing lineup.
The Labour leader replaced Jack Dromey (photo) as shadow housing minister with Emma Reynolds. The two reshuffles by Cameron and Miliband set the supporting cast for the great housing debate at the next election.
Miliband also changed his shadow secretary at work and pensions, which oversees welfare reform.
Liam ‘There’s no money left’ Byrne was replaced by former Treasury chief secretary Rachel ‘Boring, Snoring’ Reeves.
Byrne never quite escaped his notorious note left behind at the Treasury at the last election, which declared the coffers were completely empty, while Reeves was harshly criticised as being uber-boring by the BBC’s Newsnight Editor Ian Katz in a tweet accidentally made public.
