Bracknell Forest Homes has appointed a new chair of its board.
Graeme Stanley joins the Berkshire-based association following the departure of Dermot McRoberts after six successful years as chair.
Caroline Titley (shown in a file photo), the association’s chief executive, said: "On behalf of the association I am pleased to welcome Graeme to Bracknell Forest Homes. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills, which will benefit the organisation and the services we provide.”
Stanley said: "I am delighted to join Bracknell Forest Homes, to be part of steering the organisation forward following a very positive period of establishment and delivering promises to customers. The association has developed considerably since it launched in February 2008 and credit is due to Dermot McRoberts for his leadership.
“The association has delivered its promises, improved customer satisfaction and started a strong development programme, so this is a very exciting time. I look forward to working with fellow board members, staff and customers to continue to deliver excellent services, provide more homes, and deliver our vision of transforming lives, homes and communities.”
Stanley's career includes experience in local authorities and housing associations, and for six years he was a non-executive director of the Independent Housing Ombudsman Ltd. More recently he has worked as chief executive at housing associations in the south west.
