London-based Hyde Group won three gongs at the recent National Housing Awards, compered by comedian Jack Dee. They included the top prize of ‘Provider of the Year’ for “introducing outstanding schemes into the market, while considering the needs of the community and the environment".
Hyde’s regeneration of Packington estate in Islington won ‘Best Large Development’ and ‘Best Regeneration Project’.
Hyde CEO Steve White said: “Provider of the Year is a magnificent achievement and I am so proud of the team at Hyde who have made this possible. The awards for Packington build on the plaudits already received from the industry recognising the incredibly successful regeneration of this estate.”
Hyde, which doubled its 2013 year-end surplus, owns or manages more than 49,000 homes in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, the East of England and East Midlands.
