Lancashire-based Progress Housing Group’s Property Services team has had fantastic feedback from tenants about this year’s £10.6 million repairs and maintenance programme. In the first four months the Group has improved 157 homes inSouth Ribbleand Fylde and is on target to complete 714 by March 2014.
Every year Progress Housing Group carries out a huge programme of works to improve and maintain its homes. This year it plans to spend its multi-million pound budget on property repairs and maintenance including replacing bathrooms, heating systems, electrical rewiring, painting and day to day repairs.
Tenant, Susan Brundrett fromBamberBridge, is one tenant who is bowled over with her new kitchen. Progress Property Services teams worked with Susan to personalise her new kitchen and she had great fun picking out worktops, tiles and cupboards from the team’s sample books.
Susan said, ‘I am thrilled with the work the tradesmen have carried out, they have done a fantastic job. They tried to accommodate me as much as possible and nothing was too much for them. They really have done a fantastic job.”
