Calling Scarborough construction suppliers and subcontractors! Your town needs you!
Yorkshire-based housing and regeneration specialist Keepmoat is looking for local contractors and suppliers to help deliver a multi-million pound housing scheme in Middle Deepdale.
Keepmoat, in partnership with Job Match, is inviting local companies to tender for work on the proposed 121-home development.
Approval for the scheme has been granted at committee level and in anticipation of work commencement, Keepmoat has organised a ‘Meet the Developer’ event on Friday September 6.
The scheme will potentially see millions of pounds of work up for grabs. As part of an on-going commitment to use local companies and labour, Scarborough contractors and suppliers are now invited to submit tenders for the development work.
The event will take place at Eastfield Community Association Centre, High Street, Eastfield, Scarborough, YO11 3LJ. Everyone from joiners, electricians and cleaners are invited to attend.
Mark Knight, New Build Managing Director for Keepmoat, said: "The aim of this event is to offer local firms the opportunity to network and make new contacts but also find out about upcoming contracts and opportunities and how to access our local supply chain.
"Our work is not just about building new homes but creating and sustaining local communities.
"We achieve this by working with local contractors and people, ensuring the investment in these areas benefits those living there and the communities they serve."
Two presentations will be held at 11am and 1pm, however contractors can turn up anytime between 10am and 2pm.
Tradespeople are welcome to register ahead of the event by contacting Eastfield Job Match Office at High Street, Eastfield, Scarborough, YO11 3LJ, by telephone on 01723 357 060 or email email@example.com
