Housing association tenant satisfaction hits 80%
Magenta Living has secured £1.32 million in funding from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to build 88 new homes across Wirral.
The 12,000-home housing association received the funding from the £56m cash pot allocated to the North West.
Fourteen homes will be built on a site at Field Road, Wallasey, another 14 at Kenilworth Gardens, Overchurch, 36 at Melrose/Thornridge, Moreton, and 24 as phase two of the scheme at St Josephs Place, Birkenhead.
Steve Eaves, Magenta's assistant director of development, said: “We are delighted that we can add to our development portfolio with this grant.
“We already have the sites and now we have the funding to build 88 much needed homes. Magenta Living is always looking at ways it can develop more homes and we will continue to bid for funding as it becomes available."
Work is expected to begin on the first new homes in September.
