New development at Hoeyhill, Paston
TWENTY-ONE local families are set to benefit from new affordable homes in Paston thanks to Peterborough’s largest housing association.
Cross Keys Homes, has invested over £2million into the development scheme next to the Honeyhill Centre where works are underway to build 12 two-bedroom and 9 three-bedroom homes.
All the new homes once completed will be available for affordable rent and will help to house a growing population and provide some much needed affordable homes. Completion is expected by early next year.
Cross Keys Homes’ chief executive, Mick Leggett, said: “In the current climate finding affordable accommodation is harder than ever and I am delighted that this new scheme will help give 21 families a place to call home at a price they can afford.”
Cross Keys Homes is committed to providing much needed new affordable homes in and around the city to meet the huge demand.
Since last year the housing association has built 169 new homes and have a further 140 planned to complete this year alone but this still isn’t enough and Cross Keys Homes is calling for more public land to be released to help build more new homes for the residents of Peterborough and their children.
