Plus Dane Group has appointed four new members to its board.
The move follows the appointments made last year of Linda Minnis as the housing association's chair along with two fellow board members, Sandra Palmer and Anne Davies.
The new appointments include housing and regeneration sector leaders Mervyn Jones and Tom Murtha, financial services specialist Gerard Lane and experienced commercial sector finance professional, Anthony Barwise.
Last week, Northwards Housing chief executive and former CIH president Robin Lawler was made Chair of the Group’s Cheshire Board.
The four new members will formally be appointed to the board following Plus Dane's September AGM.
Linda Minnis said: “I am delighted to welcome our new board members, which, along with the recent appointment of our new Cheshire chair, further supports our commitment to strengthening our boards.
"Mervyn, Tom, Gerard and Anthony will bring considerable experience and skills to the board that will help us build on our success and achievements over the last five years.”
Plus Dane chief executive Ken Perry added: “Plus Dane recognises that strong governance is crucial, which is why we have worked to strengthen our boards through the appointment of Linda as chair and two new board members last year.
"Our new appointments will build on this commitment and help to ensure that not only are we are well-placed to tackle the challenges ahead for the sector, but that our work continues to make a real difference for the tenants and residents we serve.”
