Family Mosaic has appointed a new chair to its board.
Ian Peters joins the 24,000-home provider in addition to his role as managing director of residential energy at British Gas.
Mr Peters, who will take up the position in September, is also a long-term board member of Carers UK.
He said: “It is a privilege for me to take over the reins as Chair at such an important time in the evolution of Family Mosaic. Housing associations now face many challenges and opportunities. I am confident I am joining a responsible and well-run organisation, and I am looking forward to helping to shape its future."
Brendan Sarsfield, Family Mosaic CEO, said: “To have someone of Ian’s calibre join our Board gives us the ability to continue the growth and development of our business that has prospered well under our previous Chair.
"Our current Chair, Ian Peacock, will stand down at this year’s AGM to take up a position Chair of The Housing Finance Corporation. We would like to thank him for his hard work and commitment to Family Mosaic."
