Residents at Sir John Brown Court, a Housing 21 sheltered housing scheme in Kettering, held a fun packed day of activity on Saturday to celebrate the scheme’s 40th anniversary.
A field adjacent to the scheme was used for a variety of free attractions for residents and others in the local community. Joining in the fun were members of the Armed Forces Bikers as well as army, sea and air cadets.
The event was organised by Housing 21 Court Manager, Donna Harrison, in conjunction with the Royal British Legion.
“The residents had a lovely day and some even got to sit on a motorbike for the very first time,” said Donna. “I think they will be talking about the event for some time to come.”
