A home once ranked as the most expensive mansion in the USA has seen $50 million slashed off of its original $125 million asking price.
The opulent manor, Casa Casuarina, was once owned by fashion designer Gianni Versace. And it was on the steps of the Miami Beach home where he was shot dead by a deranged stalker in 1997.
Located on South Beach, one of the most popular resorts in the world, the 23,462 square foot 'Versace Mansion' comes with 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and centre and side courtyards.
Versace, who bought the premises in 1992, dressed the walls with hand painted murals and the ceilings with frescoes.
The home's swimming pool comes with columns, mosaic tiles and 24-karat gold lining.
The Casa Casuarina mansion entrance where Gianni died is one of Miami Beach’s most popular photo stops for tourists.
