New Merseyside headquarters for housing group officially opened
Luciana Berger MP was among the guests at the official launch of the new Merseyside headquarters of leading North West housing group Regenda.
The group – which owns and manages more than 13,000 homes across the region, including over 4,000 in Merseyside – has recently moved into new 2,000 sq ft office space on the Liverpool Innovation Park on Edge Lane.
Ms Berger was among local councillors, housing colleagues, partners and Regenda staff and Board members who attended the special event held at the new base.
Stephanie Harrison, Regenda Executive Director, said: “We were delighted to welcome our guests at the Liverpool Innovation Park, and tell them a little bit more about our work in and commitment to the Merseyside area. The new offices there are close to the city centre, making them more accessible than our previous home in Speke, and also allow staff to operate in a more flexible way that responds to the needs of our residents in the area.”
Guests at the event were told about Regenda’s commitment to its presence in Merseyside, its brand new apprenticeship scheme in Anfield and Everton, and the ways it is working to improve the health and wellbeing of its residents.
Regenda was previously located at the Match Works in Speke. The new offices will enable staff to spend more time on their ‘patch’ in the community, and will be complemented by neighbourhood bases in Newton-le-Willows and Wirral.
