A social landlord's executive team will be spending tomorrow night under the stars to raise awareness of youth homelessness.
Cheltenham Borough Homes' (CBH) chief executive Paul Stephenson and directors Kathie Pearce, Steve Slater, Nicola Templeman and Chris William are currently bracing themselves for their night in the cold.
The team will join others to raise money for the YMCA.
Paul Stephenson said: “It’s important we support other local organisations and this event is a great opportunity for us to raise awareness of the issues facing young homeless people and raise much needed funds to support the vital work of the YMCA.
“We’re preparing ourselves for a cold night but it’s all in a good cause as the money we raise will go direct to Cheltenham’s YMCA.”
The Sleep Easy event has been organised by the YMCA and will be taking place on March 1 in the car park of the YMCA Sports and Community Activity Centre on Princess Elizabeth Way, Cheltenham.
Between 7.30pm and 7.30am participants will also have the chance to join in team games, competitions and link up with others around the country through Facebook and Twitter.
