Grand Union's top score from HCA
Published by Grand Union for Grand Union Housing Group in Housing and also in Central Government
Grand Union Housing Group (GUHG) has earned the highest ranking possible in its first review by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
Alan Humphreys, Group Chief Executive has welcomed the Grade 1 scores for both governance and financial viability in the regulatory judgement.
“We are delighted the HCA has recognized our strengths and look forward to building on that in the coming year as we continue to develop our excellent services in what are bound to be very challenging times.”
The judgement said: “The strong track record of delivering business plans, realistic scenario testing and the continued delivery of the stock improvement programme within budget were material factors in the regulator’s viability assessment.”
The Group, parent company of Aragon and MacIntyre Housing Associations and South Northants Homes, was among several housing associations on which the HCA released its first judgement since it took over regulation of the sector from the Tenant Services Authority (TSA).
