Happy tenants at Spire's homes in Kingscliffe
Spire Homes have delivered 31 families the biggest and best present this Christmas – a home of their own.
Across Northamptonshire, these families will be celebrating their first Christmas in their lovely new homes. Through spending over £2.6 million, they have been able to build 31 new homes for families in need of affordable homes this year alone. 524 new homes have been built over the last ten years.
“We have plans to build a further 700, affordable homes over the next four years. The region is facing a chronic housing crisis and responding to that by building new homes is a priority for Spire Homes. We want to help more people move off housing waiting lists and into quality homes with secure tenancies, as well as helping young people get onto the housing ladder through shared ownership. This year we have built homes in Raunds, Daventry and Corby – where families can finally enjoy Christmas together” says Katy Sagoe, Director of Housing Services.
Spire Homes worked in partnership with a number of organisations including local councils, contractors and developers to make the dream a reality to build safe, warm affordable homes in local communities.
