Polypipe Ventilation has revamped and re-launched its System and Product Selector, packed with the latest products and technical information on their full range of market leading energy-saving domestic and light commercial ventilation systems.

The catalogue has been designed as a comprehensive guide that will assist distributors, specifiers, developers, installers and engineers in the specification of ventilation systems that meet Building Regulations and save time and money on site.

Clear and concise selector tables are provided to help the customer choose which ventilation technology is best suited for a specific dwelling, ranging from basic intermittent extract ventilation through to whole house Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems. When the system has been selected, the reader is then quickly and easily navigated straight through to the most appropriate appliance and duct system.

The updated catalogue contains information on all new products available from Polypipe Ventilation, including the Silavent Green Line HRX MVHR appliances and energy efficient axial fans designed to comply with 2010 Building Regulations and reduce energy usage. The SAP Appendix Q listed HRX incorporates advanced technology and innovative design for maximum performance and simple installation, providing up to 88% heat recovery within the home. The new range of energy efficient axial fans offer one of the lowest Specific Fan Powers available, at 0.22W/(l/s) and reduce carbon emissions by up to 60%. Information on Domus Thermal, Polypipe Ventilation’s unique duct insulation system has also been included, plus there is a new section on semi-rigid Radial Duct, a revolutionary whole-house air distribution system ideal for new and refurbishment properties.

In order to enhance user experience, intermittent extract fans are clearly categorised by fan type; axial, centrifugal and in-line and key features of each fan are listed, making the selection process much simpler and the fan section easy to navigate. Domus fans have also been rebranded as Silavent and now form part of the ‘Classic’ range.

Polypipe Ventilation’s catalogue also covers the company’s comprehensive range of support services, including its on-line planner, which offers guidance on the specification of domestic ventilation systems and Installer Loyalty Programme, a scheme which allows installers to earn points against purchases and be rewarded in exchange for money to spend on Argos store cards.

In addition to the new catalogue, Polypipe Ventilation is also offering further support for customers with the launch of a new Part F and L brochure, detailing how specific products meet the requirements of the latest Building Regulations. This brochure incorporates a variety of popular products and systems, including Silavent HRX and energy efficient fans, in addition to Domus rigid duct systems (supported by Domus Thermal and Firebrake) and semi-rigid radial duct systems.
