A Liverpool-based housing association is urging the housing sector to support one of its customer services advisors, Christopher Maloney, in his quest to win the X-Factor in tomorrow’s live final.

Earlier this week Maloney visited his Liverpool Mutual Homes colleagues who held a party to celebrate his achievement and wish him luck.

He arrived in Liverpool by ferry and met Liverpool Lord Mayor Cllr Sharon Sullivan before visiting his nan in Norris Green where they were joined by fans and his mentor, Take That star and X-Factor judge, Gary Barlow.

Christopher was followed throughout the day by ITV’s X-Factor film crew and took to the stage at Liverpool Empire theatre for a special live performance in front of a partisan crowd that snapped up the tickets in just 30 minutes.

Chief Executive at Liverpool Mutual Homes, Steve Coffey, said: “We would like to congratulate Christopher on his fantastic achievement reaching the final three of the X-Factor and wish him the very best of luck tomorrow.

“He has shown throughout the competition how much talent he has and everyone at LMH is right behind him.  Hopefully he can go one step further and win the show – it would be great for Christopher and also Liverpool.”

Maloney is one of three contestants in Saturday’s final bidding to win the 2012 X-Factor.
