BROMFORD Homes is going digital in a big way with a user-friendly mix of web, social media and video that is already creating a better online experience for customers.

In the last few months, the new homes business has relaunched its website with a top-to-bottom change that includes introducing a much better search section as well as much more frequent updates.

A computer-generated "fly-through" showing how one of Bromford Homes' latest developments, St Mark's View, could look when it's finished was added to the website last month and there are more videos to follow soon.

November also saw the launch of Bromford Homes' first Facebook page − dedicated to the same development, St Mark's View in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

At the same time, Bromford Homes has stepped up its Twitter activity − doubling the number of followers across central Enagland and beyond in a matter of months.

The switch to a wider, smarter use of the web, social media and video reflects demand from customers and a need to stay at the cutting edge of the new homes sector, according to Bromford Homes Sales and Marketing Director Bev Hall.

"The time was right for us to invest in creating what we believe will rank alongside the best new homes websites − and we've had some very positive feedback from customers," she says.

"We've added great new features, such as our new search pages, to help customers get the very best out of us and what we have to offer to meet their new home needs.

"What's more, the technology behind the new site means it works really well for customers if they are browsing on a smartphone or any of the other new mobile devices they use to access the web.

"At the same time, we've really embraced the use of social media so that we can communicate in a more effective way with our customers and stakeholders.

"Video is also a really powerful way of communicating with people. Of course, what you see on the website at the moment is only the start − we will keep adding more videos as the weeks and months go by."

Sales consultant Fabio Scimeca is at the forefront of the Bromford Homes digital revolution as the colleague in day-to-day charge of updating the new St Mark's View Facebook page linked to our great outright sale development that's now starting to take shape of Tennyson Road, Cheltenham.

Fabio says: "People are definitely enthusiastic about the development and, although it's still early days, we're getting a lot of positive feedback through the Facebook page.

"It's the first time we've done this and we're keen to use it as a platform for local businesses and community groups as well as keeping local people in touch with what's going on at our St Mark's View development.

"We've also had lots of really positive comments from people who've seen our fabulous fly-through video which gives them an idea of what St Mark's View will look like when the building work is finished."

Bev is equally enthusiastic. "It only takes a few moment to watch this fly-through video and yet it really brings the plans to life in a way that no number of words could," she says.

"The digital revolution is here and Bromford Homes is determined to make the most of the opportunities it gives us to communicate in a more powerful and immediate way with our customers and stakeholders."
