ASB reaccreditation awarded to Acis

Lincolnshire based housing association Acis Group has received reaccreditation for its Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) service.
Acis, who provide over 5,300 affordable homes across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, were awarded with the reaccreditation by HouseMark, the country’s leading provider of support to social housing organisations for performance and service improvement, and the Social Landlords Crime and Nuisance Group (SLCNG), a membership-based organisation specialising in delivering effective solutions to anti-social behaviour.
The ASB accreditation follows an inspection-style assessment against a range of different criteria, set by HouseMark and SLCNG. Acis were only the second organisation in the country to receive the award when first accredited in 2009.
Phil Whitehead, Neighbourhoods Operations Manager for Acis, said of the reaccreditation:
“The reaccreditation process involved a robust challenge of our anti-social behaviour services and successfully achieving this shows that we are effective in dealing with nuisance and ASB issues, we are delivering a high quality ASB service and that we are involved in effective partnership working with other organisations to combat ASB. It is testament to the hard work of our front-line staff who improve the lives of our customers and the places that they live on a daily basis.”
