H3 (Helping the Homeless into Housing) has signed up to the Vodafone ‘Just Text Giving’ service, so it’s now even easier to donate money to the charity.
If you donate via this service 100 per cent of the money will go to assisting H3 in helping local people who are homeless, many of whom are living in Stockport Homes’ Temporary Accommodation Schemes within the Borough.
To donate you can simply text HTHH01 followed by the amount which they wish to donate, for example £1 £2, £3, £5) to 70070 – it’s as easy as that!
Each donation will contribute to our successful schemes, including: providing a local homeless person with a ‘move-on pack’ (kettle, toaster, iron, cutlery and crockery) for residents moving into a new home and the FareShare Scheme which redistributes quality surplus food to people who are living in temporary accommodation.
Ian Davies, H3 Committee Member said, “I walked past a Vodafone store and saw an advert for the ‘Just Text Giving’ service and thought it would be great to combine an international brand alongside our local charity to raise money and increase our profile. We are hoping that the introduction of this service will make it easier for people to donate, so we can increase the funds we have available to help homeless people in Stockport.”
