Regenda's new Wellbeing Explorers
ine Wellbeing Explorers have been recruited by North West housing provider, The Regenda Group for a new project in Oldham which will work with residents to develop a programme to create a happier, healthier community.
Bill Lovat, Regional Director at Regenda said: “This is a great opportunity for the residents of Limehurst Village to get involved in their community and to help people to feel good about themselves. Our Wellbeing Explorers are residents living in the village, who love meeting new people and who will be active in the community over the next few months.
“We are always looking for resident volunteers who have a detailed knowledge of their area, have excellent listening and recording skills and are able to organise consultation sessions with local people.”
The Explorers will receive full training on working with residents to gather information and opinions. Using the skills that they have developed the volunteers will then talk to local people to find out how to improve wellbeing on the estate. The findings will be used to develop a plan to promote wellbeing in Limehurst Village.

The Regenda Group is a leading housing and regeneration organisation, with 12,000 properties across the North West providing homes for more than 25,000 people.
