Housing Association selects secure panel mounted mailbox and door entry system

A national housing association based in the south east of the country was looking to install a number of through the wall mailboxes in a combined mailbox and door entry system in a new development in London.

The Safety Letterbox Company worked with the Housing associations architects to develop a highly secure mailforce 1 panelled mailbox system.

Mail Retrieval

The mail is posted through the individual flaps of the panel and securely drops at an angle in the chute of the mailbox inside the building. The post is then collected by the recipient by means of a secure rear lockable inner access door. This makes it virtually impossible for a thief to try and fish the mail back through the letterflap from the outside of the building. The only person able to retrieve the mail is the resident in the building. Increased mail security ensures that mail theft and identity fraud is minimized.

The housing association incorporated a high security door entry system into the panel to provide a complete mailbox and door entry solution for its new development in London.

Manufacture and Production

The panel and units were designed and manufactured in our factory in Neath in South Wales. The mailboxes were supplied completely stacked and secured to the panel in one unit to aid quick on site installation.

Delivery and Installation

To ensure that the job ran as smoothly as possible two highly experienced engineers from The Safety Letterbox Company travelled to site in London to install the mailboxes.
