Housing Association purchases Digital Locking Cabinets

A major housing association has worked with The Safety Letterbox Company to develop a range of digital locking cabinets for its sheltered home developments throughout the UK.

The Log Book Cabinets have been developed with a digital lock for the storage of fire safety and office administration records.

The digital locks are battery operated and provides the user with immediate and simple keypad access to the box without the use of a key (a manual key override is available in the event of battery failure). 2 x AAA 1.5v cells will provide in excess of 50,000 openings of 4 seconds.

Operators have the convienence of setting and changing their personal entry code. A pre-set master code ensures that a supervisor would always have access at all times to enter or recode the box.

Cabinets can be developed to suit customers requirements.
