The outdoor decorating season comes to an end at this time of year because conventional water borne masonry paints cannot be relied upon to dry properly in temperatures below 5^oc and there’s no point applying it outside if there’s the slightest threat of rain in the air.

Sandtex Trade 365 All Weather Masonry Paint offers specifiers the opportunity to extend exterior painting programmes during the winter, even if it’s really cold outside, and the weather forecasters can’t promise that it will stay dry all day.

The product, which has been awarded a British Board of Agrément Certificate for up to 15 years’ durability, has been specially developed for application in less favourable weather conditions and climates.

Based on a high performance plasticised Pliolite® resin, a dry acrylic copolymer binder, which is not water soluble, it cures rapidly, providing masonry substrates with a tough and durable waterproof outer ‘skin’, even at low temperatures.

After just 20 minutes, the paint is shower resistant and can be relied upon to cure even when the temperature drops as low as –10^o c.

Colour choice also comes as standard. Sandtex Trade 365 can be tinted to order in 550 different shades, and four popular ready mixed colours are also available.
