Brian Johnson starts work at Metropolitan

Former Moat chief Brian Johnson is starting his new role as the chief executive of Metropolitan  today.

Brian Johnson - who was at Moat for four years - previously held the same position at CityWest Homes where he managed 22,000 homes for Westminster City Council, and has also been executive director of operations for Remploy.

Mr Johnson will now preside over Metropolitan's 36,500 homes.

Mr Johnson said: “I am very pleased to officially take on the role of CEO today. I am very much looking forward to meeting and working with Metropolitan staff and finding out how we can meet the diverse needs of our customers.”
