Soha celebrates national Customer Service Week

Soha Housing, an Oxfordshire housing association which is 15 years old in 2012, put customers at the forefront of its celebrations during National Customer Service week, 1-7 October.
As a local employer it has been keen to help people into work and recently completed ‘Project 15’, an initiative for 10 tenants to achieve a City and Guilds Customer Services Certificate whilst running surveys for the company. The team contacted other customers to find out their views of Soha and where improvements can be made.
Soha, which is Customer Services Excellence (CSE) accredited, also rewarded staff based on compliments from tenants. Five staff received shopping vouchers for going out of their way to help their customers. The picture shows two of the frontline officers commended.
Maureen Adams, Director of Customer Services and Operations explains, “We really do put our customers first and we now take calls on a Saturday morning when most other associations are closed. This particularly helps working residents reach us from the privacy of their own home on their day off. It’s going the extra mile that can make a real difference and help our community most.”
