The first rung on the property ladder could be one step closer for Londoners as leading housing provider Circle is offering over 70 new apartments via the national Rent to Buy scheme.

The state of the art homes are situated at ‘Pomarii’ in Bell Green,Lower Sydenham. The flats are part of a stunning £16 million development which has completely transformed the site of Bell Green Gas Works inside just two years.

The 60 two bed and 11 one bed apartments are supplied with sustainable energy (which will mean cheaper bills for buyers); residents parking and some even include walk-in wardrobes and Sky+ set-up and ready-to-go.

Pomarii is located near to excellent schools, central-London transport links and even the M25, which means that it’s ideally suited to professional couples and young families. And the apartments are affordable - using theUK’s Rent to Buy scheme and monthly payments start from as little as £640 for a one bed flat.

The Rent to Buy scheme offers properties for a reduced rent, approximately 20% lower than a similar home in the open market. The reduced rate offers the opportunity to save money for a mortgage deposit whilst renting.¹

Luke Chandler, Circle’s Development Manager, says:

“We’re committed to the creation of new homes which are affordable without compromising on quality or aesthetics. And the distinctive design of the buildings has been a real talking point.”²

¹ At Pomarii, within a five year renting period, customers will have the opportunity to make an offer to buy their property on a Shared Ownership basis. Circle will work with customers to assess the share that they’re able to afford when they apply for a property. For more information on Rent to Buy visit www.firststepslondon.org.  Here, interested parties can register with First steps and subsequently gain Rent to Buy approval too.

² The development currently comprises two, innovative apartment complexes: The architecture of the first, four storey, building is composed of striking, modern angles and the second is formed of ergonomic curves. Images are available from the Circle press office.
