One of the country’s largest social landlords welcomes its new Group Director for Care and Support, Léann Hearne, formerly Operations Director for ExtraCare Charitable Trust.
Léann brings her experience in the caring and business sectors to Riverside and is looking forward to leading new provision for older people, which allows them to remain independent, despite care needs.
Léann said: “I’m very excited to join colleagues at Riverside to develop some new services, such as Extra Care developments, where older people can enjoy the freedom and independence of living in their own home, with the peace of mind of having care support on the doorstep.”
Chief Executive of Riverside, Carol Matthews, said: "I’m sure that we will benefit from Léann’s commitment to excellent customer service and her track record of generating funding for new developments. I’m looking forward to her joining our senior team to help shape and influence the whole business, not only our sheltered and supported division.”
Léann added: “Riverside has an outstanding reputation for its work, not only for older people, but for some of the most vulnerable in society, especially in the areas of homelessness and support for ex-service personnel. I’m looking forward to leading a team that makes such a positive difference to people’s lives.”
