Hanover Housing Association’s IT Project Team has been shortlisted for the 2012 UK IT Awards, from more than 300 entries.

These awards are in their fourth year and will once again focus on the contribution of individuals, projects, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT in the past 12 months.

Hanover’s IT Project Team is now one of ten organisations left in the running for the category IT Project Team of the year.

Hanover’s  nomination is thanks to the successful project management of its Open Housing Refresh programme; an end to end business process for the organisation’s four key operational areas including: lettings management, income management, Supporting People and new estates and disposals.

Paul Burgess, Head of IS Infrastructure and Business Projects, said: “This is a reflection of the quality and dedication of the team as well as our commitment to improve the services to residents”.

The event is organised by the Chartered Institute of IT and has attracted a huge response with submissions from the length and breadth of the UK.

The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday 14 November at the Battersea Park Events Arena.
