North West housing provider The Regenda Group marked its tenth anniversary by opening its doors to more than 50 residents, giving them a chance to see behind the scenes at its head office in Bolton.
Steve Blackburn, Head of Customer and Housing Services said: “It’s great to welcome residents to Regenda House so that they can meet the team, particularly the people who they speak to on the phone when they call our Customer Services Centre. Residents were also given the opportunity to suggest improvements to the way we run our services and to give us feedback on what we’ve done well.
“As this is Regenda’s 10th anniversary we wanted to combine our annual open day with some celebrations. Working with a group of residents we chose the theme of a village fete for the format of the day.”
Stalls were set up covering the key areas of customer service, such as repairs and lettings, together with more traditional ‘fun’ activities such as a tombola, stocked with donated gifts, and a cake stall which was filled with a range of cakes, cupcakes and cheesecakes baked by staff.
A special treat was prepared for Mrs Margaret Looker, a resident from Macclesfield marking her own tenth anniversary with Regenda, who was presented with a bouquet.
Mrs Looker said: “I’ve really enjoyed the day and it was such a lovely surprise being presented with the flowers.”
The Regenda Group is a leading housing and regeneration organisation, with more than 12,000 properties across the North West providing homes for more than 25,000 people.
