One Vision Housing
One Vision Housing in Merseyside, have taken on 12 new apprentices, following a recruitment drive that attracted more than 800 people to apply for the positions.
Patrick Cullen, 23, Laura Roper, 20, and Sophie Dempster, 21, will work across the Customers and Neighbourhoods teams learning the ropes in teams such as Income Management and Neighbourhoods.
Two Business Administration Apprentices (Ian Callister, 23, and Christan Chorley, 21) will work in teams such as HR, Finance and Policy and Strategy to learn more about how One Vision runs as a business and the support services that are necessary to operate efficiently.
As part of their apprenticeship they will be studying at Hugh Baird College in September.
Elsewhere, One Vision Property Services (OVPS) have recruited seven new apprentices across a range of different trades.
Danni-Lee Walsh, 17, Paul Crowley, 25, Paul O’Regan, 21, Ian Atkins, 16, Liam Riley, 16, Jack Williams, 16, and Ben Boughey, 16 will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous apprentices such as Michael Von Bargen – the first apprentice took on my OVHPS and winner of Apprentice of the Year in 2011.
One Vision Housing Learning and Development Team Leader, Catherine Murphy said:
“As an organisation, we’re delighted to have recently recruited 12 new apprentices. The shortlisted candidates attended a rigorous assessment centre and interview day and we were hugely impressed with the quality of everyone who came along. Hopefully this is the start of a long and successful career at One Vision Housing.”
