New group launches

Sovini is a new business group based in Merseyside (comprising of One Vision Housing, One Vision Housing Property Services and Pine Court Housing Association).

The idea behind Sovini is to adopt a new and innovative group structure whereby each partner retains their own name, brand and identity. Their mission is to being together like-minded organisations (both within and outside the housing sector) to work in partnership to support each other, achieve better value, deliver a high quality service and exceed customers’ expectations.

Sovini have already been awarded a £10m maintenance contract with Villages Housing Association who currently provide around 2800 affordable homes and a range of sevices across the North West.

As part of the contract, Sovini will be carrying out day-to-day repairs, preparing Villages’ void properties for letting and providing the out of hours call out service.

Villages Deputy Chief Executive Jed Pearson said: “We went through a very comprehensive tender process, involving tenants at all stages and are delighted to have appointed Sovini to provide our future day to day repairs service.  We were very impressed with their attitude to customer service as well as delivering quality repairs and are confident that our tenants will receive an excellent service.”
