To save even more energy on your domestic hot water production, the Daikin Altherma system can be connected to an existing or Daikin’s own solar system by use of the solar connection kit.

The Daikin Altherma solar connection kit and panels can work for all housing of any size both new build and retro-fit. The system can also connect to Daikin Heat Pump Systems or existing solar panels.

The Daikin solar connection kit provides the transfer of solar heat to the Daikin Altherma hot water storage cylinder via an external heat exchanger. In contrast to cylinders with 2 heat exchangers, this system allows the entire content of the cylinder to be efficiently heated with solar heat and, if necessary, with heat pump energy. A solar pump station is required.

The Daikin Solar collectors are highly efficient and convert all the short-wave solar radiation into heat as a result of their highly selective coating. The collectors can be mounted directly onto roof tiles.

All Space Air Daikin Altherma Systems come complete with a prefabricated piping kit, which is manufactured in-house to ensure a fully optimised system for maximum energy savings and reduced installation time on-site.
