One Vision Housing has sacked four members of staff, including a director, over allegations of credit card misuse.

The Liverpool-based housing provider took the action after a lengthy investigation.

Paul Broadbent (pictured) was director of One Vision's in-house repairs subsidiary.

The four workers have 10 days to appeal, after which time details of the investigation may be passed to the police, who have so far been uninvolved.

In a statement, One Vision said: "We can confirm that four members of staff have been dismissed, subject to appeal.

"We have very robust financial monitoring systems in place and take any breach of our financial regulations very seriously and will always take appropriate action when required.

"There has been no impact on service provision, performance or customer satisfaction."
