Keepmoat appoints New Build boss for Yorkshire region

Housing and regeneration specialist Keepmoat has appointed Mark Knight as New Build Managing Director for its Yorkshire region.

Mark, who has built up an impressive track record in new homes development during his 25 years in the industry, joins a team of directors responsible for overseeing all aspects of regeneration activity in the region.

He brings to Keepmoat a wealth of experience, earned initially as a Quantity Surveyor and then as a Commercial Director for several major UK housebuilders.

As head of Keepmoat’s new build team in Yorkshire, Mark will drive the delivery of new homes for purchase and affordable homes of mixed tenures across the region.

Mark said: “I was born in Sheffield and have spent much of my working life in the Yorkshire region - starting out as a Quantity Surveyor in South Yorkshire in 1987. Much of my career has been spent on the delivery of new homes in one way or another - and I’m looking forward to continuing this work with Keepmoat. In my most recent role as Regional Operations Director for Miller Homes North West I was responsible for delivering circa 400 new homes a year.

“It’s an exciting time for Keepmoat and the company is in a strong position to continue delivering its skills and services to both the new build and regeneration markets. I’m confident my experience in new homes development will enhance and improve on Keepmoat’s existing partnerships and opportunities.

Mark, a father to Ethan (11) and twins Madison and Amelia (7), lives in Leeds and enjoys golfing and mountain biking in his spare time.
