Following the latest changes to Part F of the Building Regulations, in which ventilation became a controlled service and new homes must be commissioned by a suitably qualified person, Greenwood Airvac have partnered with PPL Training to provide an industry recognised ‘Domestic Ventilation Installer’ training course.

The two day training and assessment course covers the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and provision of hand-over information for all common types of Domestic Ventilation Systems in the UK. Designed for M&E Contractors, Plumbing and Heating Engineers, Electricians and Specialist Wholesalers who already hold, or who are currently studying for, an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating or electrical engineering, it teaches safe, efficient and competent working practices.

Including both theoretical training and practical exercise, delegates will get hands on experience of Greenwood’s leading SAP Appendix Q eligible products and the latest Greenwood SMART technologies which assist in the delivery of G.I.P (Guaranteed Installed Performance) and provide a fuss free method of commissioning.

Regular courses are taking place at Greenwood’s offices in Rustington and individual on-site training options are also available for groups of 8 or more. For more information please contact Carl Fivash on 01903 777161 or email: carl.fivash@greenwood.co.uk.
